Land Surveyors

Conference participants who want evidence of attendance to satisfy Continuing Education requirements for professional registration must sign the attendance sheet for the courses they attend.  Only courses labeled in the program as "Short Courses" are eligible for continuing education credit.  Sign-in sheets will be circulated during each morning and afternoon Short Course session, and instructors will confirm attendance with their signature.  Attendance sheets signed by the instructors will be available for download from the conference website soon after the conference, and will remain available until July 1, 2014.

GIS Professionals (GISPs)

Conference participants seeking certification or renewal as a GIS Professional may earn points through ASMC attendance.  It is recommended that those interested retain a copy of their registration confirmation email and conference program/agenda for proof of attendance.  GIS Professionals can receive 0.1 point per day of conference attendance towards a first-time application or 1.2 points/day for a renewal.  Additionally, those who present at the conference can earn 1 point towards first-time application and 3 points towards a GISP renewal!

Society of American Foresters

The ASMC was approved for continuing education credit through the Society of American Foresters. The final conference agenda was submitted to the Society of American Foresters to assign continuing education credits where applicable.
